Bad news for Inter who are off to a shaky start as the reigning Serie A champions.
As announced by the Nerazzurri club through a press release, Nicolò Barella has suffered an injury in the rectus femoris of his right thigh and will miss the next matches (Udinese, Red Star and Turin).
The midfielder should return after the international break but his condition ahead of the match against Roma, scheduled for 20 October at 8.45pm, will need to be assessed.
Here is the medical report: “Nicolò Barella underwent instrumental clinical tests this morning at the Humanitas Institute in Rozzano. For the Nerazzurri midfielder, a strain on the rectus femoris of his right thigh. His condition will be re-evaluated next week.”
