Inter Miami will look to extend their win streak with a victory over rivals Orlando City in the Sunshine Clasico Wednesday night.

It was another comeback victory for the Herons against CF Montreal last time out as Gerardo 'Tata' Martino's side picked up their fifth consecutive MLS victory at Stade Saputo. Although Lionel Messi didn't manage to score a goal or dish out an assist, the likes of Luis Suarez and Matias Rojas inspire Miami to a 3-2 triumph having been down 2-0 in the first half.

Even though it might be a tricky fixture away from home, Miami boss Martino won't move away from his preferred 4-3-3 formation against Orlando. With most of Miami's squad fit and available for selection, Martino won't have to move to a three-at-the-back system in order to continue picking up points in 2024.

Martino will have a few decisions to make regarding his starting XI, with Tomas Aviles back in contention after missing out last time due to yellow card accumulation, Luis Suarez playing nearly all 90 minutes vs Montreal and giving new signing Matias Rojas a breather after his first start on Saturday.

Here's how the Herons could lineup for their midweek contest.

GK: Drake Callender - No questions here. Callender starts in goal for the Herons and is closing in on 90 appearances for the first team.

RB: Marcelo Weigandt - Martino has no choice but to give Weigandt the starting nod a few days afte their Montreal clash with no other true right-backs in the squad.

CB: Tomas Aviles - The young defender returns to the lineup after missing out against Montreal due to suspension.

CB: Nicolas Freire - Freire gets the start alongside Aviles in the backline, but Serhiy Kryvtsov could take his place in XI if he can't deliver consistent performances.

LB: Franco Negri - As Jordi Alba nears a return to action but is still sidelined, Negri keeps his place in the team.

CM: Julian Gressel - With Cremaschi getting a chance from the start against Montreal, Gressel makes a return to the team with his impressive passing range and delivery.

CM: Sergio Busquets - Busquets anchors the midfield and doesn't get the chance to catch his breath while Federico Redondo is still recovering from his knee injury.

CM: David Ruiz - Ruiz continues his impressive run of form in the 2024 MLS campaign.

RW: Lionel Messi - Miami will hope that the game will be all wrapped up by the hour-mark so that Messi can be substituted off and wrapped in cotton wool.

ST: Leo Campana - After a run of starts from the veteran Suarez, Campana gets the chance to prove his worth in the midweek contest.

LW: Robert Taylor - Rojas earned his first start as a Heron over the weekend and Taylor gets the start at left-wing due to the quick turnaround.
