Lorenzo Pellegrini’s future at Roma is looking increasingly doubtful, and Inter are reportedly keeping an eye on his situation, weighing up the opportunity to make a move next summer.
The Giallorossi fans repeatedly jeered the former Sassuolo midfielder in a complicated start to the season that saw his side change three managers in the space of three months.

Moreover, coach Claudio Ranieri repeatedly dropped him since taking the helm of the team, making an extension of the 28-year-old’s stay at the Stadio Olimpico more unlikely.
Pellegrini’s contract with Roma is due to expire in June 2026, and Corriere della Sera suggested Inter are currently considered the favourite to sign the Italy international, as they would deem him a fitting profile to Simone Inzaghi’s side.
While the Giallorossi wouldn’t be willing to sell him in January, things could be different in the following transfer window, as they could be open to offloading him before he remains with a single year on his contract, with the risk of losing him for free starting January 2026.
