Inter ask information about Napoli target Alessandro Buongiorno | OneFootball

Serie A champions Inter have sought information for Torino defender Alessandro Buongiorno, who seemed destined to join Napoli.

The Partenopei have been advancing in their move for the Italian, who has impressed in recent seasons for the defender. But it seems as if Inter have taken some brief steps towards signing him.

Gianluca di Marzio has reported that Inter have asked for information for the Torino man and have to make a sale, if they have to sign Buongiorno this summer. Stefan de Vrij could be a possible outgoing but Inter would need time to make that sale.

Buongiorno would be tempted to join Inter despite Napoli’s advances and it seems as if he would speak to his agent Beppe Riso later today to decide what move to choose. Napoli already have an agreement with Torino and have agreed to pay €35 million plus €5 million in bonuses.

The expectation is that the defender will make a decision about his future in the next two days.
