This according to Italian broadcaster Sky Sport Italia, via FCInterNews. They also report that the Polish international is likely to miss next weekend’s Serie A match against Napoli as well.

Inter Milan are preparing to face off against Lazio in the Coppa Italia tomorrow.

The Nerazzurri were only just in action a couple of days ago. They beat Genoa in Serie A on Saturday.

However, the next match is already on the way. Inter take on Lazio in a Coppa Italia quarterfinal.

Reportedly Inter coach Simone Inzaghi has been considering rotating his squad in tomorrow’s match.

However, on this front the Nerazzurri coach has received one notable blow.

According to Sky, Inter wingback Nicola Zalewski has sustained a calf problem in training.

This was something that the Pole picked up today.

And Sky report that that will certainly cause Zalewski to have to pull out of the squad for tomorrow’s Coppa Italia outing.

Then, the broadcaster reports, Zalewski will most likely also miss next weekend’s top-of-the-table Serie A clash with Napoli.

Reportedly, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi had been ready to hand Nicola Zalewski his first Nerazzurri start tomorrow. The 23-year-old joined Inter on loan from Roma in the January transfer window.
