Estevao has been in superb form recently and has three goals in his last five games including a superb effort which found the top corner against Bahia in the Brazilian Serie A on Sunday night.

The 17-year-old has now scored 11 goals and provided six assists from 32 appearances in all competitions, and excitement is continuing to build over his arrival at Stamford Bridge.

Estevao has received high praise from people in Brazil, with some saying he’s the best Brazilian born player since Neymar, and Neymar himself believes the teenager can become a genius.

However, after the game on Sunday evening, Estevao, who was named Player of the Match received a unique award.

The youngster was handed a minion, like those seen in the Despicable Me films as Palmeiras are doing promotion for the latest instalment of the film.

He’s likely to receive many more awards throughout his career, but a minion as a Player of the Match award could take some beating.
