İlkay Gündoğan back on Galatasaray's radar

Galatasaray has reopened talks for İlkay Gündoğan. The Turkish club is reported to have made a salary offer to the German midfielder, who currently plays for Manchester City.

According to sources, Galatasaray is offering Gündoğan an annual salary of €4.5 million. The proposed contract would run for two years, with an option for an additional year. The transfer could go through as a free move if the player and his club reach an agreement.

Although Gündoğan plays for Germany, he can be considered a "local" player in Turkey, having made his nationality decision before June 15, 2015. This is definitely a story to watch.
