The Super Eagles can deny the Wasps a famous qualification
Nigeria have secured Africa Cup of Nations qualification but take on Rwanda this afternoon with a point to prove.
Victor Osimhen scored late on to earn a draw against Benin last time out, the point needed to seal top spot in the qualification standings.
But it was another underwhelming performance from the Super Eagles, who today face a Rwanda side needing to win to book their own AFCON spot.
It is a tall order for Rwanda, whose only AFCON appearance to date came in 2004. They must beat Nigeria and hope Benin lose to Libya, but getting results away from home has historically proven difficult for the Wasps.
