Lazio vs Juventus preview

The home side are without the suspended Elseid Hysaj and the injured Patric and Nuno Tavares.

Juventus have travelled to the capital without the suspended Kenan Yildiz and the injured Gleison Bremer, Juan Cabal, Arkadiusz Milik, Lloyd Kelly, Andrea Cambiaso and Teun Koopmeiners.

Federico Gatti and Dusan Vlahovic have recovered from injuries, but will start on the bench.

“Marco Baroni has an experienced team with fit players,” Tudor said on the eve of the game via Juventus’ official website.

“Moreover, many of them have been there for many years and, therefore, the team can count on a strong identity. We will need maximum attention to detail from all points of view, but first of all we must be focused on ourselves. Now we must only be interested in the present, we must not think about the future.

“We worked well during the week, my staff and I are seeing great improvements. Without a shadow of a doubt we all want to finish this season in the best possible way, qualifying for next season’s Champions League. From day one I’ve always told my players not to set limits for themselves. I always tell the boys never to settle, no matter what the result is in a game.

“Against Lazio it will be an important game, but not a decisive one. There are only a few games left of the league season, but there is still a long way to go. It’s the first of three very important matches. I am convinced and we are all convinced that we will qualify for next season’s Champions League. As I think so, however, so will the other teams who, like us, are fighting to qualify for the next edition of Europe’s top club competition.”
