Real Madrid could be preparing for a significant move in the upcoming summer transfer window, as reports from Real Madrid Confidencial suggest the club may bring back one of their former rising stars.
This development revolves around the potential transfer of Paulo Dybala to Serie A club Como, which could open the door for Nico Paz to return to Madrid earlier than initially anticipated.
Currently playing for AS Roma, Dybala has caught the attention of Como due to a favourable release clause in his contract.
If this deal materialises, Dybala’s move to Como would impact the squad composition, leaving limited space for Nico. As a result, Real Madrid might decide to exercise their option to bring the talented youngster back.
Nico Paz has had a breakthrough season at Como, becoming one of the key players under Cesc Fabregas.
Despite being just 20 years old, he has amassed 1,651 minutes of game time, showcasing his immense potential and earning widespread recognition as one of the top young talents in Serie A.

His impressive performances have not gone unnoticed by Real Madrid, who see great value in reintegrating him into their squad.
Nico left Real Madrid last summer in search of more playing opportunities and has made the most of his time in Italy. However, sharing a position with a high-profile player like Dybala would limit his development at Como.
Given his desire to continue gaining valuable minutes on the field, a return to Real Madrid appears to be the best course of action for his career.
Real Madrid’s interest in bringing Nico back is further strengthened by the possibility of departures within their current midfield setup, particularly Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos, whose futures at the club remain uncertain.
If these veterans move on, it would pave the way for Nico’s seamless return. With the buy-back option available, Real Madrid are well-positioned to secure Nico’s return and continue nurturing his development.
This potential move underscores the club’s strategic approach to strengthening their squad while maintaining a focus on young, promising talents.
