Football League World looks at how many season tickets Birmingham City have sold ahead of the 2025/26 Championship campaign
There is a collective sense of unity, energy excitement around Birmingham City amid the club's upwards trajectory under Knighthead's ownership, having achieved a record-breaking promotion from League One back to the Championship at the very first attempt in the 2024/25 term.
Blues, for the first time in what had felt like an eternity, are in excellent health both on and off the pitch.
On it, Chris Davies' side have already been tipped to challenge for promotion to the Premier League after accumulating more points (111) than any other side in League One, EFL or even world history - across the course of a 46-game season, that is - which saw them finish a staggering 19 points above second-placed Wrexham.
Away from it, meanwhile, Tom Wagner and co hold the ambitious dream, and an increasingly tangible one at that, of transforming Blues into a domestic and global giant.
The club have plans to construct a new 60,000 seater stadium after undertaking widespread renovation work on their existing home, St Andrew's @ Knighthead Park, have already secured prestigious Category One status for the academy, and will reportedly be able to directly challenge recently-relegated Championship rivals and Premier League sides for targets this summer ahead of what promises to be yet another lavish and exciting transfer window in the blue and white quarters of the Second City.
It's little wonder, then, that Birmingham are eyeing consecutive promotions to the top-flight.
We could well witness another remarkable, promotion-winning campaign at St Andrew's, but how many supporters could be there to see it and how many season tickets have already been sold ahead of the 2025/26 season? Football League World takes a look...
As per an update from Birmingham's official ticketing account via X over the weekend, over 13,000 supporters have already renewed their season tickets for 25/26.
For those who are yet to renew, there is just under a week remaining of the club's renewal window, which closes this Friday at 5pm.
By the time that deadline rolls around, though, it's likely the existing number will be boosted, and you would also anticipate many supporters who didn't purchase season tickets last time out booking their seats to see Championship football back in B9.
Even last season, in spite of third-tier football, Birmingham still managed to sell 18,300 season tickets in what was the largest number of sales at the club in more than a decade.
The total capacity of St Andrew's currently sits at 29,409, and it's hard to see the stadium not being sold out most weeks once the season heads underway.
Although fans will naturally have an appetite to be in weekly attendance considering the mood and excitement surrounding the club, and the realistic prospect of continued success next term, it's also beneficial that season tickets are affordable at St Andrew's.
The cheapest Adult renewal season ticket is £320, which works out to less than £14 per match.
As explained on Birmingham's website, that price would have been the fifth-cheapest season ticket in the Championship, measured by all clubs' pricing in the 2024/25 season.
