The Tractor Boys have already rejected offers for the left-back this summer.
Leif Davis has stated his commitment to Ipswich Town after links with Premier League clubs.
Davis has played a huge role in the club's recent success, so it's no surprise that teams at the highest level have been considering the left-back as a potential transfer target. The Telegraph's Mike McGrath reported that Ipswich have rejected offers for him from top-flight sides.
It has since been co-reported by Alex Crook and Ben Jacobs that Nottingham Forest were preparing a bid for the 25-year-old.
One Ipswich player has already left Portman Road to move to the City Ground. Omari Hutchinson recently completed his move to Forest as part of a £37.5 million deal. Davis, though, isn't interested in playing for anyone but the Tractor Boys.
"What you see is what you see, but I’m fully committed to being an Ipswich Town player," said the defender after his side's 1-1 draw with Southampton on Sunday, via the East Anglian Daily Times.
"I love it here, I want to do everything I can to get the club back to the Premier League. I want to keep pushing on and improve myself with the manager."
On some of his teammates, like Hutchinson and Nathan Broadhead, who've chosen to leave the Tractor Boys this summer, Davis commented: "That’s their choice, but my choice is that I want to be here, working hard.
"I know I can improve a lot more here than in other places if I went, especially knowing the manager. He knows how I want to play and what I need to work on, because I’ve been here for four years.
"I’m going to keep my head down and keep going, doing everything I can to push the team back to the Premier League.
"It's football for you, the team we've got now is possibly the strongest we've ever had. We've just got to stick together as a team. We're together as a team. People come and go, they go, that's their choice and we wish them all the best.
"The players that have come in have to do their jobs to fill the roles as well."
Davis has proved to be his usual creative self upon Ipswich's return to the Championship. He may not have a goal or an assist to his name just yet - he has only played two matches, in all fairness - but his 2.5 key passes per game show that he is going to, once again, be a key part of Kieran McKenna's attacking plans.
Players of his position and standard going forward are hard to find at this level, which is why Town will be happy that they have Davis tied down to a long-term deal. His contract runs out in just less than three years, giving them plenty of protection against any bids from the likes of Forest.
