We looked at what former Sheffield Wednesday and Watford forward Fernando Foresteri is getting up to these days.
Sheffield Wednesday and Watford supporters will certainly never forget the name of forward Fernando Forestieri.
Forestieri first arrived in English football in August 2012 when he joined Watford on loan from Udinese, and after impressing during his first few months at the club, the move was made permanent in January 2013.
The 34-year-old went on to score 21 goals and provide 23 assists in 92 appearances for the Hornets, and he was part of the team that won promotion to the Premier League in 2015, but he was deemed surplus to requirements in the top flight.
After three years at Vicarage Road, Forestieri made the switch to Sheffield Wednesday in August 2015, and it was at Hillsborough where he really made a name for himself.
Forestieri made an incredible impact in his first year in South Yorkshire, scoring 15 goals and registering seven assists in 39 games as Carlos Carvalhal's side reached the play-off final, and his performances during the 2015-16 season have earned him a place in Owls folklore.
However, Forestieri's time at the club was not without controversy, and after refusing to play for Wednesday in a game at Norwich City in August 2016 amid interest from Derby County and Newcastle United, he struggled to reach the same heights as he did in his debut season.
Forestieri did show glimpses of his quality during the latter part of his time with the Owls, most notably with the stunning long-range strike he scored in the 2-2 draw at Norwich in April 2019, but after an injury-hit few years, and he was released at the end of his contract in the summer of 2020.
That marked the end of Forestieri's time in the Championship, but the forward has continued his playing career abroad after his exit from Hillsborough - what is he getting upto in 2024 though?
Forestieri made a shock return to Udinese after leaving Wednesday, but he failed to rediscover his form with the Serie A side.
The former Italy youth international scored just four goals and registered two assists in 27 appearances for Udinese, and with his game time becoming increasingly limited, he was released in December 2021.
However, Forestieri would not be without a club for long, and he made another surprise move in January 2022 when he joined Malaysian side Johor Darul Ta'zim.
It seemed as though Forestieri's best days were behind him, but the forward proved the doubters wrong in his first season at his new club as he scored a remarkable 25 goals and provided 13 assists in 32 appearances.
Forestieri continued his outstanding form in the 2022-23 season as he scored 21 goals and registered 11 assists in 30 games, with 19 of those coming in just 20 appearances in the Malaysian Super League.
After two impressive years with Johor Darul Ta'zim, Forestieri's departure was announced in January, but just weeks later, he re-joined the club, much to the delight of supporters who had taken him into their hearts since his arrival.
In addition to his impressive goalscoring record, Forestieri has won the Malaysia Super League and Malaysia Cup on two occasions with his current club, as well as helping them to three consecutive Malaysia FA Cup and Malaysia Charity Shield victories.
