Jack Hinshelwood has said that Brighton can ‘beat anybody’ on their current run of form.
Brighton battled to an important point with a 2-2 draw at Manchester City on Saturday. The Seagulls twice came from behind to earn a result against the Premier League champions to keep alive their hopes of Champions League qualification.
Erling Haaland’s penalty opened the scoring for the home side, as the Norwegian became the fastest footballer to reach 100 goals and assists in the Premier League.

Pervis Estupinan’s free-kick levelled for Brighton, but Omar Marmoush’s fine strike restored City’s advantage. Brighton, however, were not to be denied and Abdukodir Khusanov diverted Hinshelwood’s effort into his own net just three minutes after half-time.
Both sides had chances to win the clash but could not find a winner at the Etihad as the points were shared.
Fabian Hurzeler’s side are unbeaten in seven games across all competitions, a run that has taken the club into the Premier League’s top seven and the FA Cup quarter-finals.
Brighton are just two points outside the Champions League places as the club target a place in Europe’s elite competition for the first time.
Hinshelwood said the side are full of confidence currently and capable of beating any team in the Premier League.
“When you come to Man City it’s a tough place to come. They’ve not been their best this season, but it is still a hard place to come,” he said, as per the BBC.
“The run we’re on we’ve gone into every game believing we can beat anybody. The fans have been unbelievable. If we can keep this momentum going it’s going to be hard to stop us.
“Last season we had a taste of what Europe can be like. As a club we’re driving to getting back to that feeling.”
