Hansi Flick set to be recognized as the best La Liga coach of 2024-25 season by RFEF Coaches Committee | OneFootball

FC Barcelona and Hansi Flick have enjoyed a lot of success in the German manager’s first season at the Catalan club. During this 2024-25 campaign, the Blaugranes won all the big domestic titles, i.e., La Liga, Copa del Rey, and the Spanish Super Cup.

Thus, the fans and the administration of the Catalan club would be very happy with the German tactician’s appointment as the first team’s head coach.

Meanwhile, external observers are seemingly also recognizing the good work that Flick has done with this Barcelona team.

Hansi Flick recognized as the best coach in La Liga

This is quite clear from a report from Mundo Deportivo, which claims that Flick has been recognized as the best La Liga coach by the RFEF Coaches Committee.

The first International Congress of RFEF Coaches is set to start from this Thursday, 20th July. This two-day event will take place in Madrid, and the involved coaches will recognize the best performers in several categories.

For the men’s coach, the criteria recognized will include the results obtained, exemplary behavior, respect, and transmission of values throughout the 2024-25 season.

Pere Romeu also honored

In addition to Flick, another Barcelona coach will see his work recognized, as Pere Romeu has been selected as the best coach in the Women’s first division. Like Flick, he also led his team to Liga F, Copa de la Reina, and Super Cup triumphs.

Similarly, he also came close to winning the Champions League, but his team stumbled at the very last step, i.e., the final against Arsenal.

Hansi Flick and Pere Romeu will be presented with these awards on the Gala that is scheduled to be held next Saturday, as part of the Golden Bench Awards.

Undoubtedly, it would be good to see the German take this piece of recognition after the very good season he has had with Barcelona, and hopefully, will be able to repeat his feats next season as well.
