According to a revelation from TV3, it has been learned that Barcelona manager Hansi Flick is currently facing growing difficulties in managing conflicts within the dressing room, and the situation could become more complicated with the arrival of Marcus Rashford.
While Flick’s coaching ability is not in question, his handling of squad dynamics has raised concerns behind the scenes.
Last season, Flick struggled with tensions involving Inaki Pena, who started the 2024/25 season as the club’s first-choice goalkeeper but was later replaced by Wojciech Szczesny in the second half of the season.
This change led to frustration, as Pena felt sidelined despite his early contributions. Reports suggest that his dissatisfaction became a source of unrest within the dressing room.
Adding to the issue, Pablo Torre, a promising young midfielder, was also said to have spoken negatively about the situation, pointing out perceived injustices in the team hierarchy.

Torre, despite showing real promise, could not secure a regular spot in the first team, while Pena’s demotion left him unhappy. These incidents, though minor on the surface, have added up and created friction within the squad.
With Marcus Rashford arriving from Manchester United, there are concerns that his situation might follow a similar path.
However, it must be noted that Rashford has joined Barcelona after a detailed conversation with Hansi Flick, where it was made clear to him that he will not be a regular starter.
His role will be to serve as backup to the first-choice forwards, playing a secondary role for the remainder of the season.
This arrangement could cause complications if Rashford struggles to adapt and eventually find himself spending more time on the bench.
For Flick, the challenge now is to prevent these issues from escalating. Managing a competitive squad full of international stars is never easy, but if players feel neglected or unfairly treated, the dressing room harmony can quickly break down.
