Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has finalised his squad for the pre-season tour of Asia, claims a report from Mundo Deportivo.
It must be noted that the team will hold their final training session today (Wednesday) before flying out to Japan tomorrow. Amids this, Flick is expected to officially announce the 26-man travelling list in the coming hours.
While the list is nearly complete, there are still some uncertainties. As reported before, players such as Oriol Romeu, Andreas Christensen, and Pau Victor, who are currently considered transferable by the club, may not be included.
Meanwhile, one name who will travel is Inaki Pena. Despite not being in Flick’s long-term plans, Pena will be part of the squad.
The club had hoped he would complete a move away this summer, but the offers he has received so far have not met his expectations.
Though he is open to finding a new club, negotiations have been slow. For now, he stays with the team.

Among the youth players, Jan Virgili, Landry Farre, and Juan Hernandez are confirmed absentees for the tour, despite having trained with the senior squad during the first week of pre-season.
However, five others have earned their place on the plane to Asia. They are Guille Fernandez, Toni Fernandez, Jofre Torrents, Pedro ‘Dro’ Fernandez, and Roony Bardghji.
Bardghji, in particular, is impressing Hansi Flick. The new signing has caught the manager’s eye and looks set to play a role in Barcelona’s pre-season plans.
Marcus Rashford, who signed a loan deal from Manchester United, also trained with the group yesterday. The English forward will be part of the touring squad and could feature in the upcoming matches.
With a 26-man list expected soon, including the usual suspects from the first-team, the club is taking a balanced mix of experience and youth to prepare for the upcoming campaign.
