Hansi Flick agrees with Deco on Barcelona’s priority summer signing | OneFootball

Incoming Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick is in full agreement with sporting director Deco, regarding the identity of the club’s leading summer transfer target.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who confirm that Barca continue to view securing reinforcements in the middle of the park as being of the utmost importance with a view to next season.

And one player stands out above all others when it comes to the Blaugrana’s options.

The individual in question? Joshua Kimmich.

Flick, for his part, has previous experience overseeing the efforts of German international Kimmich, during a hugely successful shared stint together at Bayern Munich.

And the tactician is more than keen to reunite over the months ahead, a stance shared in full by the aforementioned Deco.

Barcelona are hopeful of taking advantage of the 29-year-old’s precarious contract situation – his current terms expire next summer – to strike a cut-price deal with their counterparts at the Allianz Arena.

It now remains to be seen whether Kimmich himself is equally as eager to take his talents to Catalunya’s capital…
