Juventus director Cristiano Giuntoli is sure Juventus will keep Francisco Conceiçao despite signing him on an initial loan with no option to buy and confirmed their January strategy. He spoke to Prime Video and Sky before the Manchester City clash (via SOSFanta).

“We have an excellent relationship with him and his agent. We want him to stay, and I think that’s his will too. I believe there’s a 100 percent chance he’ll stay. We have a hole in the back, and we’ll surely intervene there. Then we’ll be on the lookout for any possible opportunity.”

Giuntoli isn’t worried about the early issues by Juventus.

“We want to do more and increasingly better. The coach doesn’t search for alibis, and we’re happy with that, but a lot worked against us. The lads have been commendable and are giving their all. We’re waiting for the returns from injury. We started a new project that pays more attention to the balance sheets, the youngsters, and a certain type of football. We want to be successful as soon as possible, but there’s no deadline.”

Danilo announced he would stay at Juventus in January despite the links to Napoli to Prime Video (via Tuttomercatoweb).

“I was attached to many clubs during the summer, but I didn’t say anything, and I didn’t tell Juventus I wanted to leave. My bond with this team goes beyond my playing time. I always make myself available and question myself. I’m aware that my performances have been up and down and subpar. My contract runs until June, and I want to stay until the end of it. I’ve never seen a captain leave his team midseason and I won’t be the first to do it.”
