Thanks for joining throughout tonight's dramatic Women's EUROs quarter-final clash between Norway and Italy.

The Azzurre will now await either Sweden or England in the final four.

Italy reach their first EUROs semi-final for 28 years at Norway's expense.

FULL TIME: NORWAY 1-2 ITALY

A dramatic second half sees Italy snatch a late winner through Girelli, who also put the Azzurre ahead just after half time. Ada Hegerberg thought she'd clawed Norway back into the contest after scoring an equaliser, but it wasn't to be for Gemma Grainger's side.

Italy have a corner with one minute left. The Azzurre will want to keep the ball near the corner flag for as long as possible.

GOAL ITALY!!

It's been all Norway in the second half but Italy race down the other end and snatch what should be the winner. And who else by Cristiana Girelli, who drifts into the six-yard box to header in from Sofia Cantore's inch-perfect cross.

CHANCE NORWAY!

Ingrid Syrstad Engen's curling effort drops just wide of the post. A wonderful strike and not too far away from giving Norway a late lead.

CHANCE ITALY

Caruso is a real danger in and around the penalty area and thumps a dipping first-time volley wide from 20 yards out. Not a bad attempt at all.

Sofia Cantore has a rush of blood to the head and shoots from 30-yards out and the ball drifts harmlessly over the Norway crossbar.

Graham Hansen lashes a half volley towards goal but it can't find a route through Italy's backline.

Norway look much more comfortable and confident in possession as we head into the final 15 minutes. Can either side muster a winner?

Gaupset lashes towards goal and her shot takes a huge deflection. Norway are really pushing now.

GOAL NORWAY!

Hegerberg redeems herself! The Norway attacker races onto a long ball forward from Maren Mjelde and taps past Giuliani to send the ball into the net.

Game on!

Despite the penalty miss, Norway have kept momentum up and have penned Italy back inside their own half.

Hegerberg went for the bottom right corner but put just a bit too much on it. Giuliani may also have had it covered with an acrobatic dive in the right direction.

Elena Linari is penalised for dragging down Hegerberg inside the area.

Ooof, Cecilia Salvai attempts to clear a cross into the box and sends the ball towards her own goal. Thankfully for her, it sails over the bar to safety.

That could have gone anywhere!

Girelli goes close to a second as her powerful header skims past the post. The Azzurre look up for this now!

There was a quick VAR check for that goal, but it stands. Italy are 1-0 up!

Norway get straight into the Italy area and Bjelde's cutback is thumped away by the Italian defence.

SECOND HALF BEGINS

And we're back underway in Geneva for the second half.

A EUROs milestone for the Norway and Chelsea star.

HALF TIME: NORWAY 0-0 ITALY

After a cagey start, the game came to life as the half edged on and both teams had a couple of decent chances to break the deadlock. Hegerberg went the closest for Norway and Caruso fired just wide for Italy.

Wow! Signe Gaupset breaks just into Italy's half, spots Laura Giuliani off her line and goes for the 40-yard lob that is inches away from finding the top corner.

That would have been goal of the tournament.

CHANCE ITALY

The ball sits up nicely for Caruso to volley from the edge of the area and the attempt is well held by Cecilie Fiskerstrand.

BIG CHANCE NORWAY!

Norway finally come to life and Thea Bjelde tries to find Ada Hegerberg with a low cross into the six-yard area. The ball bounces off three players and eventually off Hegerberg and wide. Not far away for the Grasshoppers.

Norway get forward but can't make use of their attack as Guro Reiten's evades everyone and bounces out for a goal kick.

CHANCE ITALY

The Italian waves of attacks keep coming and Lucia Di Guglielmo fires into the side-netting from a tight angle. How long can Norway hold on here?

Italy continue to look the more dangerous and Arianna Caruso whips a dangerous cross towards Girelli, who heads well wide.

Emma Severini has another great chance and breaks the Norway offside trap and shoots straight at Cecilie Fiskerstrand.

CHANCE ITALY

Cristiana Girelli and Emma Severini get in each other's way as they both attack the same cross and the opportunity goes begging.

Oooh, Ada Hegerberg tries to latch onto a deflected cross into the box but she can't quite get it under control. That could have been a danger for Italy!

Both sides are generally keeping things very tight in the opening stages. Italy have had the best chance so far through Caruso.

Caroline Graham Hansen tries to get Norway up the pitch and takes on four players before running out of space down the right wing. Excellent skills on display there!

Arianna Caruso gets the first big opportunity of the game as she squirms into the area and pokes just wide. A great chance!

Barbara Bonansea of Italy makes a dash into the Norway penalty area but is snubbed out by a wall of players in red.
