If there message was somewhat subtle before, Paris Saint-Germain have now made it abundantly clear. Gianluigi Donnarumma has been left out of Les Parisiens’ squad to face Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Supercup on Wednesday. Instead Lucas Chevalier is set to start between the sticks – all according to a report from L’Équipe.Fabrizio Romano adds that the hero of last season’s UEFA Champions League run will not sign a new deal with the European champions and will “100% leave” this summer or in 2026 as a free agent. The message is now as clear as ever, PSG want the Italian to leave the club. Manchester United and Chelsea have both already enquired with PSG regarding Donnarumma’s (26) situation, according to Marc Mechenoua. Whilst the Italian had not previously expressed his desire to leave the club, no breakthrough was made in contract extension discussions with the former AC Milan shot-stopper. This was before Les Parisiens went all out on Lille goalkeeper Lucas Chevalier (23), who completed yesterday his move to the French capital. The France U21 goalkeeper signed a five-year deal with the Rouge et Bleu, with L’Équipe understanding that PSG have paid a €40m fee, which could increase substantially. Including bonuses, the deal could rise to €50m.GFFN | George Boxall
