The Germany national team have not yet made their way home after their 2-1 win over Italy in San Siro on Thursday night, as they are currently using the U-Power Stadium, regular home of Monza, for their post-match recovery.
Julian Nagelsmann’s side fought back in the second half to claim a 2-1 victory over the Azzurri in the first leg of the Nations League quarter-finals in San Siro on Thursday night.
Sandro Tonali put Italy ahead in the ninth minute, before Tim Kleindienst and Leon Goretzka put Germany ahead with two second-half headers.

Even though the two teams will meet again at Borussia Dortmund’s Signal Iduna Park, the Germany team have not yet left Italy, as they are carrying out their recovery session in Monza instead.
The Germany side carried out regular recovery work in the gym, as well as on the pitch of the U-Power Stadium.
Germany are expected to travel back home before the start of the weekend, and will continue training locally in Dortmund ahead of the return leg of the Nations League quarter-final on Sunday.
