Giorgio Furlani and Igli Tare will meet again soon, and this time the feeling is that the discussion will lead to a decision either way.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan and the former sporting director of Lazio have had new talks and the common idea is to speak again after the first face to face last Tuesday. A second appointment is on the horizon. When will it happen? We will understand in the next few days.

The starting situation is particular. Milan are evaluating several directors and Tare has been one of the strong candidates for weeks. They are looking for an experienced man, who will deal with the transfer window, the management of the team during the week at Milanello and face the media.

The right candidate will be one who will also willingly work with the CEO Furlani, with Zlatan Ibrahimovic – who remains Cardinale’s right-hand man – and with the technical director Geoffrey Moncada. No one-man shows, therefore.

Milan will probably decide in the first half of May and, for this reason, the second meeting in the next few days could become important. In the first meeting between Furlani and Tare, they talked about programs, ideas and teamwork, as is logical between two people who have not met in the past.

It is impossible to know the details but something can be deduced: it was a four-hour conversation in which the idea was to get to know each other and understand if it was possible to work together. Furlani and Tare also discussed possible coaches (Max Allegri, Vincenzo Italiano) for a new era.
