Napoli are still looking for a replacement for Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, but according to Sky Sport Italia, coach Antonio Conte is disappointed that the club could not get Alejandro Garnacho or Karim Adeyemi.
Napoli coach Conte is unhappy that the club could not secure an adequate replacement for Kvaratskhelia in the January transfer window.
Multiple sources claimed that Conte’s favourite target was Manchester United winger Garnacho, but the Partenopei failed to reach an agreement with the Red Devils who set the Argentinean’s price tag at €80m.
Napoli, on the other hand, refused to offer more than €55m and were never really close to reaching an agreement with United.

Borussia Dortmund’s Adeyemi was another potential replacement for Kvara, but the Germany international refused to join the Partenopei as he dreams of moving to the Premier League in the summer.
Allan Saint-Maximin was the latest name linked with a move to the Stadio Maradona, but Napoli are running out of time as they must shake hands with his club, Al-Ahli, and Fenerbahce, where the Frenchman is currently on loan.
This means the Partenopei will probably sign Milan striker Noah Okafor on loan with an option to buy, having already reached an agreement with the Swiss striker.
Conte has already warned Napoli several times that he’d need a replacement of the same level as Kvaratskhelia, but it is unlikely that his desire will be fulfilled in the coming hours.
“I doubt Conte is happy, but he’s certainly focused on his work,” Sky Sport’s Napoli correspondent Massimo Ugolini said on Monday afternoon.
“The team will return to Castel Volturno tomorrow to analyse the draw against Roma.”
Napoli remain the Serie A table leaders with a three-point lead over Inter, but the Nerazzurri have a game in hand.
The January transfer window for Italian clubs ends at midnight today (23:00 CET).
