Fulham are exploring a move for Chelsea’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall, according to Sky Sports.
Dewsbury-Hall arrived at Chelsea after an impressive spell at Leicester City, where he was pivotal in their 2023/24 Championship-winning campaign, bagging 12 goals and 14 assists.
His performances earned him Leicester’s Player of the Season and Players’ Player of the Season awards, as well as a move to Stamford Bridge to reunite with manager Enzo Maresca.
Since joining Chelsea for around £30 million from Leicester last summer, the 26-year-old has had limited opportunities in the Premier League.
With Chelsea set for a return to the Champions League, Dewsbury-Hall could be on the move this summer.
Fulham, who are eager to strengthen their central midfield options, view him as an ideal target.
They are open to either a loan move or a permanent deal, depending on Chelsea’s stance.
While a permanent exit is not out of the question, Chelsea may be more inclined to a loan arrangement this season to ensure Dewsbury-Hall gains regular playing time.
This would potentially increase his market value ahead of a future move.
Fulham will reportedly approach Chelsea formally if they feel a deal is possible. West Ham United and Everton showed interest in January, but were deterred by Chelsea’s £30m asking price.
Comfortable playing as a box-to-box midfielder, or even in a more attacking role, Dewsbury-Hall offers a range of tactical utility that Fulham manager Marco Silva values highly.
Still the only Premier League side without a summer signing, Fulham will be keen to accelerate their transfer dealings in the coming weeks.
