The latest news from Argentina suggest Leandro Paredes may have once again changed his mind regarding his future plans.

In yesterday’s press conference, Claudio Ranieri said he had not received any signs of farewell from the player in question, expressing his admiration for the midfielder’s quality and sacrifice, but understanding the his personal needs.

However, rumors continue to emerge from Argentina about Paredes’ desire to return to Boca.

According to journalist Gastón Edul of TyC Sports, the player has communicated to coach Fernando Gago and president Juan Román Riquelme his intention to move immediately.

“I say it clearly. Paredes told coach Gago that he wants to come to Boca Juniors now,” said Edul.

“He spoke to Riquelme two days ago and confirmed this decision. He has already told his family, his teammates and also the new Boca signings. We’ll have to see if the deal goes through, but I have no doubt that Paredes wants to return.”
