Financial Fair Play does not appear to worry Roma after reports came out claiming UEFA may exclude the club from European cups in 26/27.

As La Gazzetta dello Sport writes, in Trigoria there is the awareness of not being able to respect the limits but no one is convinced that this can lead to the maximum sanction, that is, exclusion from European cups for the subsequent season.

Instead, Roma are expecting to receive a fine from UEFA.

The club’s confidence is due to the constant improvement of the accounts, as highlighted by the latest balance sheet, both in terms of revenues and deficits. Not to mention the club’s management costs, reduced by 15 million euros.

The Friedkins have continued to improve the club’s finances since their takeover in 2020.

Roma are therefore not worried about the financial situation they find themselves in and remain optimistic about UEFA’s evaluation of the club’s business model.
