Since leaving Real Madrid for Como in the summer of 2024, Nico Paz is making the most of his time in Italy.
The 20-year-old La Fabrica product has become one of the most coveted young talents in Serie A, having shone brightly for Cesc Fabregas’ side so far in his debut season at the club.
As reported earlier today, the idea of Nico Paz returning to Real Madrid, who have a buyback clause for him, in the summer is gaining weight, although a decision will be made once the season is over.
Now, Fabrizio Romano has come out with an update on the situation, stating that Nico Paz dreams of a return to Real Madrid in the future.
At the same time, though, the young attacking midfielder also realises the importance of playing regularly at this stage of his career and is focused on doing well at Como.

Any decision over his future and a potential return to the Santiago Bernabeu for the next season will thus be made only at the end of the season.
As far as Real Madrid are concerned, Romano adds that they are monitoring each and every game of Nico and are very pleased with how he has progressed in Italy.
Those at Valdebebas feel that selling him to Como, without losing control over his future, was the best decision for the player and the club given how he has developed during this season.
But as iterated earlier, there will be no immediate decision made regarding his return and all parties will wait until the end of the season to take a call.
