Former Hartlepool United boss Anthony Limbrick is among those being considered for the vacant Yeovil Town manager job, Hayters understands.
Yeovil are looking for a replacement for Mark Cooper, who was sacked after losing three of his first five games of the National League campaign.
Limbrick guided Hartlepool to an 11th placed finish in the National League last season after being appointed in February, their second highest finish of the last ten years, but was sacked in June amid uncertainty in the boardroom.
He previously managed Welsh side The New Saints, winning the Cymru Premier and almost making the play-off round of the Europa Conference League, losing on penalties to Czechia side Viktoria Plzen in the third qualifying round.
The Australian’s first management job came at Woking in the National League, before he joined Grimsby in League Two as assistant manager. He has also coached at youth level for Southampton, England U17s and West Ham United.
Announcing Cooper’s departure earlier this week, Yeovil said in a statement: “We would like to place on record our thanks to Mark for his commitment to this club through some very difficult times and also his achievements during his three years at Huish Park.
“We wish him every success in his future endeavours. In the interim, Richard Dryden will assume responsibility for first-team matters while the club begins the process of appointing a new permanent manager.”
