Former Ajax boss Francesco Farioli linked to Inter and Como | OneFootball

According to VoetbalPrimeur, Francesco Farioli has been linked to Inter and Como in Italy. The former Ajax coach is said to have been mentioned in the Nerazzurri’s search for a new boss following the departure of Simone Inzaghi to Al Hilal in Saudi Arabia.

That said, Cesc Fàbregas is considered the best choice at the Italian powerhouse and this could mean that Farioli takes the helm at Como, where he is even being labelled as a ‘top candidate’ according to the local La Provincia outlet.

Since leaving Ajax, Farioli’s name has been mentioned by several clubs, but the 36-year-old is currently still without an employer. Fàbregas is reportedly the Italian giant’s dream successor, but Inter are also mapping out other options.

According to transfer journalist Alfredo Pedullà, Farioli’s name has also been mentioned, as well as those of Cristian Chivu (Parma) and Patrick Vieira (Genoa), who are also linked to Ajax.
