Roma sporting director Florent Ghisolfi spoke to DAZN a few minutes prior to Udinese-Roma.
In his pre-match interview, the French executive offered an update on the team’s transfer business ahead of the closing of the January window.
“We are very happy that our fans are here, it is a right thing especially for the relationship between the two sets of fans. They are always by our side.”
“Transfers? We don’t want to make mistakes, in January we need to be smart. We need to sell before making any signings.”
“With the arrival of Rensch we have acquired our priority objective, a new right back. He is versatile and young, we want this type of profile. We will see if we will make other moves in the last week.”
“Hermoso? There are teams interested in him. We have contacts but nothing has happened yet. If he leaves we will sign a new centreback, even though we have versatile players like Celik, Rensch and Cristante.”
“Dybala’s automatic renewal has officially kicked in. We are very happy, he is a technical leader of the team. He is an important figure for the club and the fans.”
