One of the things that makes Hansi Flick’s Barcelona so special is the commitment of the players. From the start of a game to the very end, they never stop fighting. Across this season so far, Barcelona have showcased plenty of times that they can fight to the final whistle.

However, this entire commitment that the players have showcased this season extends even beyond just the games themselves. Even in moments where the cameras are not pointed at them or they are not under the pressure to perform, these players have been diligent in their preparation.

Even recently, as highlighted by Mundo Deportivo, some Barcelona players came to train on a day off for the squad. After the intense game against Rayo Vallecano, Hansi Flick’s original decision was to give the players a day off to rest.

However, the likes of Pedri, Dani Olmo, Ferran Torres, Gavi, and Raphinha still came to train by themselves at the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. This just goes on to show how committed these players are to the cause when it comes to ensuring that Barcelona succeeds, even when the cameras and the fans are not looking.

The injured duo of Andreas Christensen and Marc-Andre Ter Stegen were both also present as they continue to work on their respective recoveries. For the Danish defender, his wait to be back in the squad again should not take much longer as he is expected to return soon.

However, the entirety of the squad is expected to return tomorrow as the team will begin their preparation for the upcoming game against UD Las Palmas. Having already lost to them before this season, Barcelona is fully committed to ensuring that it does not happen again.

Furthermore, this match will now begin a new journey for Barcelona where they are on the defensive rather than playing as a chaser for the top spot. With the objective now being to protect their lead at the top of the La Liga table, Hansi Flick’s men know that they cannot afford to slip up.
