Murray vented his feelings on X and reckons that the financial gap between the sides makes celebrating such a win pointless.

Yes there is a massive difference in finances between the two sides and we should be winning games with such conviction and ease, but that’s our problem how? We can only play what’s in front of us after all.

Ironically hacks like Ewan kept their mouths shut during the spend then bust David Murray years when the egocentric businessman was busy spending other folk’s money as the Ibrox side dominated Scottish football with a budget as big as any side not just in Scotland but the entire UK.

Although to be fair their mouths were probably too full of succulent lamb to speak up.

So why the concern now? Well it’s quite obvious really. Celtic dominating Scottish football is a sore one for our Scottish hacks to take. They all pine for the days when they were living off the leftovers from Murray’s table.

Celtic are the biggest most successful club in Scottish football, and we are only going to get better, bigger and richer. That’s their real problem.

Have a read through the responses to Ewan Murray’s tweet, the Celtic support really does put him back in his box.
