Voetbal International have reported that Luka Ivanusec’s (26) chances of regular first-team action at Feyenoord are slim, despite being part of Brian Priske’s group that are training in Marbella this week.
The Croatian’s role continues to be questioned as the league looks to restart with a home game against FC Utrecht on the 12th of January. Therefore, it has been reported that he has instructed his agents to try and facilitate a temporary move away.
According to VI, Ivanusec would like a loan move back to his old club Dinamo Zagreb, and while negotiations are apparently in full swing, Feyenoord are yet to get involved.
Feyenoord are reportedly open to loaning Ivanusec, who has failed to convince both Arne Slot and now seemingly Brian Priske. It seems that a loan-to-buy plan could be ideal for all parties. That said, his departure would arrive to many in Rotterdam as a recruitment failure.
Incidentally, the Zagreb club are not the only ones interested. A number of MLS and LaLiga clubs are also reportedly asking about the winger, but this has not yet led to concrete interest.
