Newcastle United battled back from a 1-0 deficit to secure an excellent 3-1 victory over Nottingham Forest in Sunday’s Premier League encounter.
The Magpies fell behind after 21 minutes on the clock when Murillo leapt superbly to head home Anthony Elanga’s cross.
However, Eddie Howe’s men made a spectacular comeback in the second-half as Alexander Isak equalised before Joelinton and Harvey Barnes struck to win the game comfortably for the visitors.
Former Newcastle star Kevin Nolan was left hugely impressed with Isak who slotted into the bottom corner after Anthony Gordon’s corner dropped at his feet.
The 42-year-old praised the striker for his “fantastic” finish. He said on BBC Radio 5 Live: “He is Johnny on the spot. He’s a fantastic finisher. He’s there and he’s ready. He’s aware and waiting for the ball to drop anywhere around him and he passes it into the corner.
“Well deserved in this second half for Newcastle”.
Newcastle were on a five-game winless run in the English top-flight before their home clash with Arsenal.
However, they ended their poor run by beating the Gunners, with Isak scoring the decisive goal.
The Sweden international also made a big impact for his side today at the City Ground against Nottingham Forest.
He initiated the comeback by scoring the equaliser, bagging four goals in his previous four matches.
Isak also posted impressive numbers in the away encounter. He had 46 touches, completing 24 of his 27 passes (89 percent).
The 25-year-old registered three key passes and won two of his three aerial duels.
The Swedish footballer missed one big chance but completed 100 percent of his long balls.
