Fábio Silva’s future looks set to lie away from Wolverhampton Wanderers. According to Portuguese outlet zerozero, three clubs are currently in talks to sign the Portuguese striker, though none have yet met Wolves’ asking price.

Despite entering the final year of his contract, Wolves are hoping to cash in on Silva following a solid loan spell at Las Palmas last season. The Midlands club are aiming to recoup a decent chunk of the €40 million they paid FC Porto back in 2020.

Wolves are currently demanding between €20 and €25 million - a fee yet to be matched by the clubs showing the most interest: Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig, and Roma.

Roma have already secured another Premier League youngster in Evan Ferguson but are still keen to bolster Gian Gasperini's attacking options. Meanwhile, the two German sides are preparing for key changes up front as Frankfurt recently sold Hugo Ekitike to Liverpool, while Leipzig are in talks over the sale of Benjamin Sesko.

Any of those moves would mark a fresh chapter for Silva, who has become something of a journeyman across European football. Now 23, he’s already played in Portugal, England, Spain, Scotland, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

His return of 10 goals and three assists in 25 appearances for a struggling Las Palmas side wasn’t enough to convince new Wolves boss Vítor Pereira to keep him in the fold. With his contract running down, Wolves are keen to move him on rather than risk losing him for nothing next summer.
