Manchester United outcast Marcus Rashford has attracted the attention of a new suitor amongst Europe’s elite.

The 27-year-old was one of the club’s biggest stars in the past decade, but he suffered a fall from grace following the arrival of Ruben Amorim who completely omitted him from his plans by mid-December.

After more than six weeks on the sidelines, Rashford sealed a loan move to Aston Villa. Although he found some success in Birmingham with Unai Emery hailing his ‘fantastic’ displays, the club opted against exercising their option to buy the striker for €40 million.

Therefore, Rashford must now find himself a new home, as Amorim has already made it abundantly clear that the Manchester native has no room at Carrington.

While the versatile attacker has been dreaming about a transfer to Barcelona for quite some time, this remains a big ask amidst the Catalans’ FFP struggles and their keen desire to land Nico Williams this summer.

Nevertheless, sources close to Stretty News reveal that Bayern Munich could offer Rashford an escape route.

This would be music to the ears of the Red Devils who are desperate to offload the player (alongside others like Sancho, Antony and Garnacho) in order to finance their market operations. They are hoping to receive a transfer fee of £40 million.

As these sources explain, the Bavarian giants have identified Rashford as a suitable replacement for Leroy Sane on the left wing. The German has recently completed a free transfer to Galatasaray.

We’ve also been told that the Man Utd exile is moving his way up on Bayern’s shortlist, especially after failing to convince Liverpool to sell them Luis Diaz.

Nevertheless, the Bundesliga champions are also monitoring other suitors, including PSG’s Bradly Barcola, and Milan superstar Rafael Leao, who is also on Man United’s shortlist.
