An exclusive report has claimed that Chelsea are in for yet another Brighton player this summer, but this could be a popular move.

The new comes after Chelsea beat Premier League winners Liverpool 3-1 at Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon in what was a fantastic overall performance by The Blues.

Cole Palmer was back in fine form for Chelsea and is one of the reasons that they put in such a good performance, with the stats proving this as well.

Palmer was also involved in Chelsea’s first goal of the game in the opening minutes, as well as some good work by Romeo Lavia and Pedro Neto to setup Enzo Fernandez to provide a lovely finish to get things going.

Focus soon on the transfer market

With just three games left of the Premier League season now, all focus will soon turn to the summer transfer market, and Chelsea are certainly going to be one of the main clubs to watch.

The Blues want to sign a number of new players as well as looking to move many of them on as well. A lot of their business looks dependent on Champions League qualification.

According to an exclusive by GIVEMESPORT this week, Chelsea have been looking to lure Brighton goalkeeper Bart Verbruggen to Stamford Bridge during the summer transfer window.

However, it looks like it would be very difficult to get him out of his club this summer at least.

The report goes on to say Chelsea added Verbruggen to their shortlist of options in case they decided to seek a shot-stopping upgrade, having seen him put in consistent Premier League performances this season, but Brighton have fresh confidence that he will not leave the Amex Stadium in the coming months.
