Cagliari are expected to part ways with their sporting director, Nereo Bonato, and have held talks with Guido Angelozzi of Frosinone.
Cagliari have had contact with Frosinone director Angelozzi as the Sardians are looking for a new sporting director.

As I already reported earlier this month, Bonato is under scrutiny as his transfer activity in 2024-25 was not entirely convincing to the club.
I can confirm that the relationship between Cagliari and Bonato is poor and report that Angelozzi of Frosinone has been identified as a possible replacement.
Cagliari have already opened talks with the 70-year-old director.
A final decision will be up to Angelozzi, given that he’s under contract with Serie B side Frosinone.
Cagliari have recently appointed Fabio Pisacane as their new head coach for 2025-26.
