Everton are showing interest in Bayern Munich left-back Adam Aznou as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the 2025/2026 season.

According to The Athletic, the 19-year-old Moroccan international has caught the attention of the Toffees.

With Ashley Young leaving the club on a free transfer, Vitalii Mykolenko is currently the only recognised option at left-back.

Everton boss David Moyes wants to build on the progress made last season. He wants to reinforce the squad, and Aznou is firmly on his radar.

The talented teenager joined Bayern in 2022 as a 16-year-old. He came in with plenty of promise.

However, three years down the line, Aznou has struggled to break into Bayern’s star-studded first team at the Allianz Arena despite his immense potential.

Vincent Kompany gave the youngster his Bundesliga debut in a 3-0 win against Union Berlin. That was one of only two appearances Aznou has made for Bayern in the German top flight.

After playing just four times and totalling 25 first-team minutes, he spent the second half of last season on loan at Spanish side Real Valladolid.

He was handed 13 appearances in La Liga and started 10 games. While his attacking numbers offer little to be excited about (creating only one big chance), he showed his quality on the other side of the ball.

Aznou racked up 2.2 tackles, 4.3 ball recoveries, and 2.0 clearances per 90 minutes.

He also won 69% of his aerial duels, 51% of his ground duels, and completed 1.5 dribbles per game, with an impressive success rate of 56%.

He returned to Bayern for the Club World Cup but managed only eight minutes of game time during the tournament. Aznou’s lack of playing time at Bayern opens the door for a move to Everton.

Valued at just €4 million (£3.4m) on Transfermarkt, he could be a shrewd acquisition for Everton if he finds his feet in the Premier League.
