Endrick is reported to be "satisfied" with his first season at Real Madrid, despite limited playing time amid stiff competition for places from a world class forward line.

The youngster was only 16 when Madrid secured his pre-arranged transfer from Palmeiras, going on to make his senior debut for Brazil at 17 and finally moving across to Europe last summer, aged 18.

Endrick has played 28 times in all competitions, although it's been just four starts – and none at all in La Liga. He's still scored six goals, though, at an average of not much more than 90 minutes for each.

Struggling Premier League side Southampton showed shock interest in Endrick ahead of the January transfer window. But the likelihood of the Brazilian talent leaving appears slim.

According to AS, Endrick is happy with the progress he has made since arriving in Madrid, even without playing as much as he might have liked. The youngster is said to "understand" the competition for places that he faces from Vinicius Junior, Rodrygo and Kylian Mbappe.

Endrick is said to remain calm about his future and has no interest in leaving on loan this summer.

Despite initially being left out of Brazil's squad for this month's internationals against Colombia and Argentina, Endrick was called up by coach Dorival Junior when Neymar was ruled out.

The player caused such a storm at international level with goals against England and Spain in March 2024 that he ended up being assigned the number nine shirt at the Copa America that summer. But it was a disastrous experience for Endrick, who infamously managed only a single successful pass in the quarter-final against Uruguay and failed to score during the tournament at all as Brazil crashed out on penalties.
