Manchester City embark on their final Premier League outing before the second international break of the season as Fulham visit the Etihad Stadium.

Pep Guardiola and his players will be hoping to return to winning ways in the English top-flight and end the latest bulk of contests on a high, having drawn their last two fixtures in the competition last month.

A dramatic 2-2 draw with Arsenal featuring a late John Stones equaliser in the eighth minute of additional time was followed by a 1-1 draw away to Newcastle United, with Anthony Gordon’s second-half penalty cancelling out Josko Gvardiol’s opener.

Marco Silva’s Fulham are certainly no easy task, with the Cottagers having lost only one game all season, with Manchester United’s 1-0 victory on the opening weekend followed by impressive wins from the London club against the likes of Newcastle and Nottingham Forest.

There has been no change to Pep Guardiola’s options on the injury front, with all of Nathan Ake, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, and Oscar Bobb ruled out. However, Ake and De Bruyne could return immediately after the international break.

Ahead of the confirmed team news from the Etihad Stadium this weekend, some initial information has began to filter throughout social media from journalists and sources regarding Manchester City’s starting line-up.

According to the information of reliable early team news source ‘FPLMaineRoad’ on X, both Erling Haaland and Phil Foden start for Manchester City against Fulham in the traditional 3PM kick-off at the Etihad Stadium.

Additional reporting from the Manchester Evening News has also indicated that Ilkay Gundogan retains his starting position in Pep Guardiola’s line-up for the clash against the Cottagers.

Pep Guardiola and Marco Silva are expected to confirmed their respective Manchester City and Fulham starting line-ups around 13:45 (UK) on Saturday afternoon.

Now confirmed.
