Artem Dovbyk’s situation at Roma is getting complicated.
A year after arriving in the capital, the Ukrainian striker hasn’t played a single minute in the first three summer friendlies due to muscle problems, and his future now appears far from certain.
Meanwhile, competition has become fiercer, especially after Ferguson’s impressive debut, which won over fans and coaching staff.
As Leggo reports, concrete inquiries have been made from Turkey by Besiktas, who are interested in forming a strike partnership with Abraham.
Roma, however, isn’t willing to give in: the minimum asking price remains set at €35 million.
Several Premier League clubs are also interested in the Ukrainian, including Leeds and West Ham, both seeking a central striker to strengthen their respective attacking positions.
In the event of a transfer, Roma has already identified a potential replacement: Rasmus Hojlund. Manchester United are willing to listen to offers around €35 million, exactly the amount the Giallorossi club intends to earn from Dovbyk’s sale.
Financially, Hojlund would be a sustainable move: with a salary of €2 million, he would even be less expensive than Dovbyk.
