A leading member of the midfield ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona has on Tuesday evening come in for heavy criticism online.

This comes owing to his performance, to date, in Barcelona’s showdown with Inter Milan.

Hansi Flick’s troops are of course locked in action on the continent at present, having made the trip to San Siro for the 2nd leg of a Champions League semi-final tie.

As things stand, after a 3-3 draw in the tie’s opener, the evening’s visitors find themselves behind, though, owing to a strike in the part of Lautaro Martínez.

And on the back of as much, one Barca star has come in for some altogether heavy criticism.

The player in question? Dani Olmo.

Midfielder Olmo was responsible for surrendering possession in weak fashion in the buildup to Inter’s opener, directly at fault for the goal.

Amid what has been an underwhelming all-round showing, the Spanish international, in turn, has been targeted in ruthless fashion online, amid mounting calls for Olmo to be hauled off at the interval.
