Digital ticketing: Guidance and FAQs

Immagine dell'articolo:Digital ticketing: Guidance and FAQs

From the 2025/26 season, Brentford FC home tickets, including premium seats and match-by-match tickets, will be digital, replacing physical tickets.

Use our instructional videos, how-to guides and FAQ pages to help you make the transition and familiarise yourself with various digital ticketing processes.

In August 2024, Premier League clubs voted to make digital ticketing mandatory for all clubs in the league from the 2026/27 season.

We’re making this move ahead of the Premier League deadline and will begin using our improved digital ticketing system from the start of the upcoming season to give everyone plenty of time to get used to the change.

What are the benefits of digital ticketing?

  1. Efficient and quick processes for purchasing and sharing tickets. Digital tickets are not new for many Brentford fans and have proven to be quick and easy to use with additional advantages:

- Download your ticket to your digital wallet for quick and simple access on matchday, with no need for internet connection

- A simplified process for upgrading tickets from concession to adult that can now be done online, without the need to call the box office

- With ticket forwarding available online, you’ll be able to send your tickets to people in your Friends and Family Network in just a few clicks and manage all your tickets in one place.

  • Ticket Access Points (TAPs) are awarded based on attendance. Digital ticketing ensures that it’s the person who attends the game that receives the TAPs. This aligns with our five-year rolling TAPs system, which rewards active and consistent attendance to give fans a pathway to accessing tickets for high-demand fixtures.
  • Digital ticketing is more secure and helps us identify ticket touts. By managing everything online through your ticketing account, it improves our visibility of who is attending matches to ensure, as best we can, that home areas are for home fans only.

Resources to help with digital ticketing

To help fans manage the transition, we have developed instructional videos, how-to guides and FAQ pages with guidance for various digital ticketing processes.

These resources have been developed in collaboration with fan groups to answer your most common questions and explain the essentials that you’ll need to know.

Please note that you won't see any tickets in your account yet. Any purchased tickets, or season tickets will appear in the ticketing hub on the Brentford FC Official App closer to the start of the season. We’ll notify you when your tickets are ready to view and download to your mobile wallet.

Even if you’ve already been using a digital ticket to enter the stadium, we strongly recommend that you use these resources to get the most up-to-date information to prepare for the new season.

And if you need additional support, we’ll be hosting walk-in sessions with our box office team to provide in-person support to help fans get comfortable using their digital ticket (more details on these sessions are provided below).

Video how-to guides

We recommend that fans start by watching our short instructional videos that explain various processes for digital ticketing.

The videos cover the following topics for season ticket, premium seat ticket and match-by-match ticket holders:

  • How to download and access your season ticket
  • How to forward your season ticket within your Friends and Family Network
  • How to upgrade your season ticket from concession to adult
  • How to transfer your ticket (premium seat holders)
  • How to add someone to your Friends and Family Network

FAQ pages

If you’ve watched the instructional videos and have more questions, we’ve prepared detailed FAQs that can help you understand some specific processes for digital ticketing and troubleshoot any issues you may experience.

Walk-in sessions

For fans that need additional support with digital ticketing, we’ll be hosting walk-in sessions with our box office team to give fans the opportunity to experience the whole process in-person from start to finish. Members of staff from the club and Ticketmaster will be on-site to support fans at these sessions.

You will not need a match ticket or season ticket to join a walk-in session. We will provide you with a test ticket that we will use to guide you through each process.

The sessions will take place at the box office at Gtech Community Stadium on Tuesday 22 July, 10am-5pm and on Wednesday 30 July 11am-7pm. More information about the walk-in sessions will follow.

Additionally, you can visit the box office at Gtech Community Stadium and speak to the team during our opening hours.

If you have any questions that aren’t answered by our resources, feel free to contact our box office team at tickets@brentfordfc.com or call 0333 005 8521.
