Dembélé wins the UNFP Player of the Month award for January

Paris Saint-Germain forward Ousmane Dembélé has won the UNFP Trophy for Ligue 1 Player of the Month for January.

Voted for on TROPHEESUNFP.COM with 39% of the votes, the French international beat RC Strasbourg Alsace striker Emanuel Emegha (34%) and OGC Nice striker Evann Guessand (27%). The second Parisian to win the award this season after Bradley Barcola in September, the Rouge et Bleu No10 has now won the accolade for the second time in his career after March 2016, when he played for Stade Rennais FC.

This is the 50th time that a Paris Saint-Germain player has been awarded the prize since its inception at the start of the 2003-2004 season. Paris Saint-Germain are the most successful club, ahead of Olympique de Marseille (26), LOSC Lille (20) and Olympique Lyonnais (19).
