The Professional Game Match Officials board has confirmed that Premier League referee David Coote has been sacked after incidents caught on video that circulated around the internet.
The match official has been suspended since 11th November while video allegedly showing him making derogatory comments about Liverpool and the club's former manager Jürgen Klopp was investigated.

A further video showing alleged drug use by the referee also surfaced just afterwards.
The 42-year-old has been overseeing Premier League matches since 2018.
