Crystal Palace join race for Cagliari’s Nadir Zortea | OneFootball

Premier League side Crystal Palace are set to battle with Serie A side Fiorentina to secure the services of Cagliari’s Nadir Zortea.

According to an update by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Crystal Palace have set their sights on signing Cagliari right back Nadir Zortea this summer.

The Sardinia-based outfits are yet to receive an offer but they are aware of the strong interest from the Selhurst Park dwellers as well as Serie A counterparts Fiorentina.

Palace won their first trophy in 120 years last season as Oluver Glasner led the side to lift the F.A. Cup. They have already kicked off this campaign by lifting the Community Shield, defeating Premier League champions Liverpool in the process.

Palace have qualified for the Conference League and therefore they are in search of new faces to bolster their squad. Zortea would instantly be first choice for Glasner, but they will have to navigate the potential transfer battle with The Viola soon.
