Crystal Palace boss Oliver Glasner has addressed the ongoing speculation surrounding star duo Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze, even as they continue to be strongly linked to Manchester United.

United are gearing up for a very busy transfer window that will see them address multiple positions across the pitch.

Midfield and attack are believed to be some of the areas Sir Jim Ratcliffe and INEOS are eager to bolster. Eze and Olise have been mentioned as targets in this respect.

A previous report covered by The Peoples Person relayed that United will rival Tottenham Hotspur for Olise’s services.

Meanwhile, Olise is thought to be a name that features very highly on the Red Devils’ wishlist and there is a belief that the club is leading the race to sign the electric French winger.

It was stated that Palace will not entertain any offers below the the £60m mark for either of the two.

United were treated to a stunning show of what Eze and Olise could both bring to Old Trafford when they combined excellently to sink the 20-time English champions in a 4-0 hammering at Selhurst Park last week.

On that occasion, Olise bagged a brace while Eze proved to be a dominant force to reckon with in the middle of the park.

Understandably, Glasner – who has worked wonders at Palace since he arrived – has stated his desire to keep them.

The Australian coach spoke to reporters and said, “I hope all the players will be here. I know the club will do everything to ensure they will play for Crystal Palace next season.”

“I think what we can show from the sports department is that we are ambitious and they can benefit and make a big contribution to being successful. That is what we can offer them, the rest we will see.”

“I can’t keep doing the same thing and getting results like that, so we need to look at it.”

Glasner added, “It’s not a crisis and we won’t rip everything up and start again, but we need to adjust to the group we now have.”

Olise and Eze are out of contract with the Eagles in 2027.
