The future is very much now for AC Milan, and key decisions must be made in the short future. Unfortunately, several high-level ideas must be collectively decided on.

In a time where Milan are surrounded by frustration, confusion and just general pessimism, the club are approaching a summer of change. On the pitch, in the stands, and the boardroom, there is set to be cogs turning, and the club must ensure that the decisions are made effectively.

As Corriere dello Sport (via Milan News) write, there are some very important choices waiting to be made, and they can define a generation of the Rossoneri. A lot of pressure, but these are why the directors are paid the big bucks.

We start off the pitch, to a degree, where the club must appoint a new head coach and sporting director. In a season where decisions in the mercato and on the touchline have regularly been criticised, a reset is needed, to bring structure and an aligned idea for the future.

However, the list is ‘widening’ with ideas such as Tony D’Amico also joining the race to be the club’s next sorting director.

Then, we have the case of the pitch itself. With the club looking to move stadiums, conversations are progressing about the future of the ‘New San Siro’, but no offer has been sent yet, which is a shock, considering it was expected by the City Council.

The report states that the club are yet to fully abandon the San Donato idea, which is certainly a shock, considering the idea looked dead in recent weeks.
